eBay raises seller currency conversion fee to 2.75% for China sellers
From October 14, eBay will keep 2.75% instead of 2.5% when it converts funds for Greater China sellers on non-USD sites; US and Canadian sellers go from 3% to 3.25%, with Australia, the UK and four EU markets following by December.
eBay is raising the seller currency conversion charge it keeps whenever it converts a seller's money for an item listed or sold on another eBay site. For sellers registered in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau, the charge goes from 2.5% to 2.75% on October 14, 2026. US and Canadian sellers go from 3% to 3.25% on the same day, Australian sellers follow on November 1, and German, French, Italian and Spanish sellers on December 2. eBay posted the changes on its fee pages rather than in a seller announcement.
