eBay raises seller currency conversion fee to 2.75% for China sellers
From October 14, eBay will keep 2.75% instead of 2.5% when it converts funds for Greater China sellers on non-USD sites; US and Canadian sellers go from 3% to 3.25%, with Australia, the UK and four EU markets following by December.

Shopify moves Shop to Shop.com, adds per-product return windows
Shopify has moved its Shop app's website to shop.com after buying the domain from Market America, and launched return windows that can be set by collection, product or variant. From October 23, Shopify Tax will also tax return shipping fees on U.S. orders.

Amazon Seller Central now manages eBay, Shopify, TikTok Shop and Walmart
At Accelerate on Sept. 24, Amazon let U.S. sellers connect rival marketplace accounts to Seller Central for free, and cut Multi-Channel Fulfillment fees 15–25% for six months. It affects any seller running Amazon alongside other channels or a Shopify store.

Etsy's September seller update lets team members help run a shop with their own logins, lets sellers charge for personalization, and adds a third listing variation, wider appeals and ad groups. Small teams and personalized-product shops benefit most.

eBay to drop Live sales from seller standards and Top Rated Plus on Oct 15
From Oct. 15, eBay Live transactions, including past ones, will no longer count toward Seller Level, Top Rated Plus or Service Metrics. Live-heavy sellers may need more regular marketplace sales to keep Top Rated status.

Walmart cuts Walmart+ badge qualification window from 30 to 14 days
Walmart Marketplace sellers can now qualify for the Walmart+ badge on 14 days of performance instead of 30, with on-time delivery above 90% and cancellations below 2.5%. The change also means the badge reacts faster to bad weeks.

Amazon to require $1M liability insurance in safety categories from Nov 2
From November 2, Amazon.com sellers in enhanced-safety categories such as children's, cosmetic, ingestible and lithium battery products need $1 million liability cover regardless of sales. Mainland China-based sellers must buy new policies through the Amazon Insurance Accelerator.
