eBay to drop Live sales from seller standards and Top Rated Plus on Oct 15
From Oct. 15, eBay Live transactions, including past ones, will no longer count toward Seller Level, Top Rated Plus or Service Metrics. Live-heavy sellers may need more regular marketplace sales to keep Top Rated status.
eBay will stop counting eBay Live sales toward seller standards and service metrics starting Oct. 15, 2026, and the change also applies to Live transactions completed before that date. Live sales will no longer feed into Seller Level, Top Rated Plus eligibility or Service Metrics. eBay says Live performance will be evaluated separately under a future program.
